Acuity Consultants are currently searching for a Test Engineer for a global software firm that develops financial systems for Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Insurance firms and other leading financial institutions.
In this role you will be responsible for working closely with business analysts and the test automation team to ensure the quality of software used by leading firms internationally. Your duties will include test development and execution, test automation, and manual testing.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
-At least 1 year of software testing experience
-Strong understanding of test design principles
-Strong understanding of regression, functional, performance and integration testing
-Excellent SQL skills
The following skills would be advantageous:
-Test Automation experience with QTP, Rational Functional Tester, Compuware QARun / Testpartner or Selenium
-Javascript, Java, SQA Basic, VB.Net, VBA, C++, C#, UNIX or Linux Shell Scripting
