Traffic Controller/Administrator
Salary: R 8k to R 10k per month
Reports to: Traffic Manager
The Traffic Controller/Administrator is responsible for managing the delivery of campaigns and projects. This person will act as the interface between the account management team and the production team.
The position includes the following duties:
• Proactive interaction with the Account Managers and customer regarding projects.
• Keeping the Account Managers informed of all project information, especially changes and amendments.
• Creating/taking briefs from the Account Managers or customers for campaign requirements.
• Responsible for managing of all material, i.e. getting the material from the client on time and checking that it is complete and correct.
• Managing deadlines and ability to deliver through careful planning.
• Quality management: proof reading and checking of output before tests are sent to clients.
• Daily tracking of campaigns and providing status reports at agreed intervals during and after projects.
• Learn, manage and improve on processes and documentation where possible.
• Identifying risks and issues and through problem solving must raise Red Flags, and escalate accordingly.
• Retrieving requested statistics to assist in management processes, controls and reports.
• The Traffic Controller will be responsible for any other functions that management may require from time to time.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be confident in interacting with various teams and have an exceptional ability to multi-task, and co-ordinate workflow. The Traffic Controller needs to be motivated, knowledgeable about email and digital marketing, as well as be efficient at administration and systematic.
The candidate must:
• Have the ability to understand and apply marketing concepts and digital processes to all campaigns.
• Be critical in paying attention to detail.
• Have the ability to work under pressure.
• Be structured and organised.
• Be able to communicate well through email and verbally.
• Be able to take responsibility for handling big brands.
