UNIVERSE DEVELOPER
Our client is a dynamic company that runs world-class in-house IT systems and uses state of the art technologies. They are one of the largest users of Rocket Software’s Universe technologies (recently acquired from IBM) in South Africa.
Job Requirements:
We require developers with UNIVERSE / UNIDATA / PIC and UNIVERSE DATABASE experience to join our dynamic team of system developers. We are looking for ‘hands-on’ technical experience, programming skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure. Attention to detail and a quality orientation are essential.
Salient Features:
IBM SB Plus technologies and web design including .net skills would be advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
Together with a team of developers, the incumbent will assume full responsibility for development and maintenance work on the in-house Line of Business system. This includes meeting stringent quantity and quality criteria. A high tolerance for stress is essential.
