Description:
This position exists to research the Company’s existing information technology systems, procedures & infrastructure to maintain and develop solutions for our Company. The Senior Web Developer will participate in a variety of exploratory research, recommendations related to the upgrading and replacement of IT software, data analysis and work with the Chief Information Officer to set engineering direction.
The incumbent will under general direction, create, design, develop, deploy and produce a variety of computer, Web and/or multimedia graphics, animation, video production, sound and/or content materials to support program needs in both existing and new product areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Related tertiary qualification.
Min 3-4 years experience within related field.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: *.NET Framework 3.5 (C#, VB) *ASP.NET, LINQ *DHTML, CCS *JavaScript, JSON, jQuery *Ajax, XML, RSS *Multithreading *Reporting: Crystal Reports, Charts *Visual Studio 2008 / 2010 *IIS 7 (Management/tweaking/caching/compression, etc.) *MS SQL Server 2005 / 2008 *Microsoft Office *Web Sites, Web Applications, Web Services, Dynamic Web Pages *Relational Database Design *Advanced SQL Query Building *RAD: Rapid Application Development *Advanced Programming & Error Handling Procedures and Techniques
