Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary education, from an established university or Technikon
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in a corporate development environment
Experience in:
PHP 5
MySQL
HTML / XHTML , CSS (Front end development)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Flash
J2EE Experience advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience developing Web Applications
Development and maintenance of Web Applications
Database development and design
Analysis and design of specifications for clients
Design and rollout of concepts
Using Photoshop to manipulate photos (filters, masks, layering), deep-etching of photographs and creating pixel perfect source files to be used in cut ups
Working closely with Technical Architects in order to provide the best Web solutions
Testing of own development in a modular as well as a system wide perspective
