RUBIKSROOM, locatedin Cape Town, currently has a vacancy for a PHP/LAMP Ninja whos responsibility will be to wrangle the outsourced developers and do last min fixes/additions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- A minimum of 5 years programming experience over a LAMP stack
- Solid understanding of the web and associated interfaces
- Solid understanding of: REST, Web Services, SQL, XML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, HTML5
- Web 2.0 methodologies including AJAX/jQuery
- sysadmin knowledge, including Amazon AWS/EC2, a bonus
- Experience in Internet startups a bonus
Beneficial
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Mobile app development/familiarity
- Previous experience in public web site development
