Basic file server connected to a NAS

Using iSCSI for storage, MS Hyper-V

Applied by accident a VLAN setting in Hyper-V to the iSCSI network adapter

It messed up the iSCSI storage

Quite interesting. Had to re-initialize the disks and lost all data.

And the backups didn't. :D

So glad it was a test system, and not a production system.

Phew.

Busy setting up a nice backup system with smb, which after correct configuration will be rolled out to production.

I've broken my VM so many times

More of a test application:
Many Many years ago I developed a freight system. In my tests, I was shipping, dagga, ak47s, cocaine, heroine - all the fun stuff :). During one set of tests, I accidentally sent EDI files to production system - my boss was not impressed - DBA's were quite busy that day. To this day we still laugh about it.
