funny upload speeds

I've noticed something very strange with my speeds recently. My download speed has degraded dramatically (from about 800 kbps to 250-350 kbps; and this is at night!) while my upload speed appears to be unusually high - 481 kbps according to the iBurst speed test.

I am not complaining about the high upload speeds but has anyone else experienced these or is the iBurst speed test unreliable?

I am in JHB, Northgate (Coca Cola Dome) area.

While I am at it, iBurst, please look into the degradation of the service in my area.

I saw this yesterday aswell..

there appears to be problems on their network, all seemed fine last night after a reconnect. It seems everytime they add a basestation things go pear-shaped.

hehehe, funny enough, I noticed the same thing (using the iBurst speedtest). The reason why I checked on the speedtest was the fact that I was downloading at 110KB/s average. BIG was my surprise when I got 384KB/s down and 403KB/s up on the speedtest
