1. Which provider would someone recommend, Future Forex, Shiftly or Currency Hub?
2. Anyone that can explain how Shiftly calculates fees, profits?
Eg. Calculation for R200 000,00 as per their website
https://shiftly.co.za/knowledge-base/what-are-the-trading-fees/
Base cost R 200 000.00
Swift -R 500.00
Forex conversion fee(0.2) -R399.00
Trading capital R 199 101.00
Trading profit R 3 942.20
Withdrawal fee -R30.00
Proceeds R 203 013.20
Net profit R 3 013.20
(Assuming an average spread of 1.98)
Their Telegram bot shows for an average 1.98 spread:
You can contact @shiftly_bot right away.
t.me
Base Cost: R200,000
Proceeds: R202,260
Profit/Loss: R2,260 (1.13%)
Where does the difference of R753.20 come from not mentioned on the above site?
They take 25% of the net profit or are there other costs?
3. Anyone can compare Shiftly and Future Forex's fees like the above example?
They don't seem to provide a breakdown on how all the fees and profit are calculated and only show total profit for the year.
According to Future Forex's FAQ
Investment Amount per Cycle | Percentage Fee |
R100,000 – R149,999 | 35% |
R150,000 – R199,999 | 33% |
R200,000 – R299,999 | 30% |
R300,000 – R399,999 | 28% |
+R400,000 | 25% |
Net profit per trade*
Average spread Amount invested
R200,000 R400,000 R1,000,000
1% R 400 R 1,300 R 3,900
2% R 1,800 R 4,300 R 11,400
3% R 3,200 R 7,300 R 18,800
FIA application & hidden fees R0 R0 R0
So around R1800 profit per trade for an average spread of 2%?
25% less profit than Shiftly for a similar slightly higher trade?
4. Anyone know how Currency Hub's zero Swift fees for 5 months will impact things?
What are the Swift fees after 5 months for their RMB partner, batching transactions, they mention you can start with R50000?
What is the impact of extra VAT charged on transactions?
They don't post any extra information, no contact email, no Android app and there are no reviews by users, is it save to use?
CURRENCY HUB gives investors easy access to sophisticated cryptocurrency and FOREX solutions such as Crypto Advisory, Arbitrage, OTC & Foreign Exchange.
www.currencyhub.co.za
https://www.currencyhub.co.za/fees/ These examples still use Capitec with R500 Swift Fees, not sure what the impact will be with the lower RMB Swift fees.
R3250 profit per trade? (Using R250000, 2% average spread - R143000/44 trades)
