I tried searching the forums, but didnt get the answers i'm looking for.

According to their website:

What are the benefits of G-Connect ADSL?

It's fast.
It's cheap.
It's awesome.
One account.
Prepaid.
Free Connection Manager Software.
Data rollover.
24/7 Customer Support.
No Sign Up and Activation Fee.
Unshaped:D:D

How do their pricing compare against someone like Afrihost?, and yes i did compare the price, but it looks misleading, because one of their offerings is priced at 2.2c per mb. Thus i get 2.2c x 1024mb(1gig) = R22.53/gig.

Correct me if i'm wrong here

How will the latency be for online gaming for Eg. WoW

I tried gconnect the other day cause I had a R50 voucher and it worked quite well...
The way it seems to work is that you top up with a cash amount and then depending on what service you use (adsl/3g/wifi) you get charged a different rate. For the 2.2c/mb (on adsl) you pay R200 for a 30day account - so yes gig for gig its cheaper than afrihost but u are laying out R200 minimum. Higher topup gives u a better c/mb rate aswell.

Depends on the package you buy. Their best package is 27 gigs for R389 which is 1.4c / Mb or 14.40 / gig.
Afrihost is R39 / gig (or on special for R29 / gig at the moment. AfriHost are also running a Valentines special where you get 2for1 at the moment, which brings the effective price down to R14.50)
So either way, GConnect is cheaper
