So a lot of exchanges are being upgraded to ADSL2+.

My router have been syncing ADSL2+ since end last year and then yesterday morning it automatically went to G.DMT. Even when I force my router to try Sync ADSL2+, nothing happens.

I have to admit, since my line started syncing at G.DMT it is 1000000x more stable, where it always used to drop like every 2hours.

I have a 4096k Line.

Might they be working on our exchange?
We might have a bit newer DSLAM as ADSL was only implemented at out exchange like mid 2007.

Thanks

Probably, yes.

I had a slightly different experience (G.Dmt unstable on Fri 6th, until I tried ADSL2+ G.Dmt.BisPlus)

Be grateful for a stable 4Mbps connection!

It's strange... I mean, I always had problems with my 4Mbps, since I upgraded in December. Now since Yesterday, when It changed to G.DMT, it's as stable as can be.

Another thing, Lets say our little Town's exchange gets upgraded, and my ADSL is once again unstable, due to the fact that it would syncing at ADSL2+. Would it still sync at G.DMT if I change it manually?
But maybe if they actually are upgrading, then it might be stable at ADSL2+. Who knows ;)

For the last 30hours, my line has been like a DREAM.

ronald911, AFAIK the DSLAM's should always support G.Dmt. So you could just disable the ADSL2+ modulation and select G.Dmt and it should work :)
