When I closed the program I usually save to drafts and send the following day when I rounded it off completely.

But I was so tired I pressed dont save to drafts instead of saving to drafts..

how do I get my report back? Can't it be in %temp% or some place? please oh help me ^^

Sorry I can't help with recovery...

silver lining: hope this leads you to not writing full reports in email anymore, or anything that needs to be saved and editted over time for that matter... may save you from similar k@k happening again in future

Would be wise to start his new report and immediately safe it to draft and then edit it from there.

Would be even more wise to use Writer with autosave and recovery features...

I can understand everyone's point that I should be using Writer, but as I just found out that after inserting my table to input data onto.

1. Writer frose
2. Thunderbird's Tables automatically adjust it's cells according to the maximum length of each column cell.

I prefer to use Thunderbird here since I've experienced far too many writer / word crashes in my time.

It's a good advice to save to drafts first then edit from there.

Thanks mate :)

If it's not in drafts, i'm 99.9998% sure that you are not going to get it back... :/

To tell Mozilla Thunderbird to save drafts of messages you are composing periodically in the background:

Select Tools | Options... (or Thunderbird | Preferences... on a Mac) from the menu.
Go to the Composing category.
Select the General tab.
Make sure Auto save every __ minutes is checked.
Enter the desired frequency for saving (three minutes is usually reasonable).
Close the preferences window.
