galaxy 10.1 on contract (or ipad)

Hi,

1. Does anyone know where I can get a galaxy 10.1 on contract without waiting a month for it?

2. And a ipad 2 on contract?

3. And the age old question... Which one is the best?

Mtn stores has it, would think any vodacom store as well. The tab that is. The iPad you can only get on contract from fnb if i am not mistaken.

The best is really subjective, I had both and I would say for me the Tab was better, just because of the 3G restrictions that apple has built in the iPad an iPhone. The iPad isnt treating me badly though. I don play games so I wont be able to give judgement on that. The iPad does feel slicker though, but the fact that you can just copy and paste the stuff over from the Tab gives it the edge, oh and that you can download things bigger than 20 megs over 3G from the market.

If you are constantly in a wifi area this shouldnt be a problem for you, but that you constantly have to use iTunes to copy pdf and stuff over is also not the nicest thing. Dropbox kinds of solves this for me, but I didnt know all of this before hand.

Bevonk has both as well , and he favours the iPad, but you'll have to wait for him to explain it to you.

The iPad keyboard also bugs me a bit, or I am just using it wrong.

I swapped by tab for the iPad I am using now as it looked too similar to my phone and I wanted something different.

Like Phonejunky says, its subjective.

I have a 1st gen iPad and an ASUS transformer, sold my iPad 2 because of the restrictions(Jailbreak issues)

iPad = Form over function
Android = Function over form

That said, personally I dont like the Samsung tablets but that is just me. Pity no ASUS tablets on contract :(
 
I got my iPad2 16gb from Vodacom @ incredible connection on contract. Game also sells it on contract through vodacom.
The iPad2 16gb is R230/pm for 24 months and the data contract is a 500mb 24 months contract @ R149p/m. In total i do pay R379 p/m for 24 months and the first 3 month's data subscription is free.
They also offer the 32gb and the 64gb.

Also saw the Galaxy yesterday at a vodacom shop on contract but did not check anything or any details.

Vodacom shop got the Galaxy 10.1 on contract and in stock (4 left one near us), but I got the Asus transformer instead.
 
I just got the galaxy 10.1 on a vodacom mofoya contract at 369 a month with 2gigs data, though my wife has taken the 2gig sim and given me her 500meg :-)

HAHAHAHAHAHA should get a Prepaid and hit it with a R500, 20Gig for the 1st month or 2 :)
