I like the sneaky clip of the chick eating the "ice cream sandwich".
So When do we get the Nexus on contract here?? When will the stores have stock?

Only rolling out to the UK now, so might have to wait a bit longer.

*Update : Jannie van Zyl from Vodacom says early next year.

I would love to know why. For me its such an awesome feature and one of the key advantages of the flagship phones

I'm also a bit stumped by Google's decision not to include the feature.

First thing I did when I got my Galaxy S2 was to get a 32GB micro SD card. The music collection and movies needs storage. :)

Update : added a great review for the Galaxy Nexus at the top. Enjoy!

I think I am getting myself this when it comes out here. Dont really need more than 16 gig anyway.

I would also get it, as it doesn't look like the other phone manufacturers will give you the pure Ice Cream Sandwich Android experience on their handsets. Saw the pre-release firmware for the Galaxy S2 - and it still looks exactly like Gingerbread. :(

Joshua Topolsky saying that the Galaxy Nexus matched his expectations, says a lot. The dude plays around with new phones every day of his life, so he is most probably one of the most qualified persons to make such a statement.

And at the end of the review he said...."the Galaxy Nexus is most probably the best phone ever made".

No Micro SD
No Radio
5MP Camera

screen res too high for you to notice the difference
Cant remember what else... maybe not flac and mkv?

I say SGS2 is better, its not lacking where the above obviously is.

Yes, the sgs 2 is better in that regard. But the s2 still doesnt have ics.

I have the original sgs and i am not getting ics because samsung decided it is not going to support it but the nexus s is getting it and it is basically the same phone without a micro sd card and no radio. At 5 mp the camera is no laughing matter either. MPs arent the be all and end all as well, rather go look at the quality of pictures produces. And isnt this the first android phone with zero shutter lag? I speak under correction thouh on that one.

And it has nfc, which will probably be a useless feature as well, but i wil be trading one useless feature for the other. Or just for my use profile. Maybe a radio is important to you, but I havent used it once.
