Yeah sorry, i went into work on Sat (cellucity) expecting the cages to be filled with units. Unfortunately the stock only arrive late last week and it hadnt been booked in yet. Expecting to have them wednesday or thursday :). The only other place you will find which has units, is the samsung store in canal walk :). If you tell me which cellucity branch is closest to you in Cape Town, i can possibly organize one to be kept aside for you :).

Galaxy note 3....

Picked up my handset from Cellucity on Tuesday.
Out of the box failure not a good start to owning the latest note.

Maybe I should just stick to my iphone 5

Will give it one more chance..i think.

If this was the Iphone 5 you would not have the option to even OBF it. :-)

Don't be in too much of a hurry. I got my Note 3 two days ago and have had nothing but hassle. The phone kept losing coverage both for voice and data. I was advised to turn off the LTE which I have done. This has helped but the reception is still worse than my old S2. It's not great that you buy a device that's LTE capable and end up not being able to use that function. I am seriously thinking about returning this phone - I love the functionality but if the basic connectivity is not great then I can't use it.

You do realize that LTE will be an issue on ALL devices right? Not just an issue with the Note 3 specifically...I did one now on a smart red VIP @R2000pm. Absolutely no issues whatsoever on it. Ive also got a personal unit from Samsung have had no issues. Just change the APN setting to normal 3G, and select the right band frequency for Vodacom. Done, dusted.

If you don't remember the massive fails we had with the iPhone 5's in december last year and beginning of Jan this year when users were on LTE and calls would continually be dropped. Easily fixed with a software update and removing of the LTE options.
