Galaxy Note 8

FNB is also now offering the Note 8.

@ R829

Been waiting for this since my smart device contract ends next month.

Are there any free rewards on the S Rewards app besides the level earphones. Does MTN have any?

Has anyone tried Substratum on their phones. I love how you are able to theme individual apps. I always use a dark theme when it's available, but a lot of apps still don't have dark themes.

Substratum is my new favourite theming app. I highly recommend it.

That looks quite amazing actually, will definitely try that thank you. Any other good app recommendations, gems like these?

Got mine over the weekend with the S3 watch, what a pair! Just need a screen protector, the one i got at the shop was horrible, took it off yesterday. I look after my phones, did not have one scratch on my 3 year old Note 4, but anyway, never know... Anyone else have a screen protector they happy with or can recommend?

Thanks, I love Substratum. Almost all my apps now have dark themes. I'm using the Swift Dark theme. It's compatible with Android 7.1.1.

There are a few apps that I use that I find very useful. Most are photo editing apps but one that stands out is MacroDroid.

I have it setup to do some automated tasks on my phone. For instance, it automatically opens the Samsung Rewards app every day at a set time. I also have it set to mute all sounds at night and then activate sounds again in the morning.

I'm also looking for a good screen protector. Will wait and see what my local Vodashop has to offer.

Is substratum something you install from the play store? or have to side load?

Yes i forgot about Macrodroid, also used that to turn my wifi on and off if i got home, left office etc. And also the Samsung rewards thing was cool, will install that again thanks.

Just don't get the tempered glass one at Vodacom, not sure about the name, will check tonight, but it is really horrible. It has sticky parts on the side and does not go over the edge, so not only does it look bad, the centre does not really make contact with the screen, so you lose sensitivity and on the sides where it is not flush it starts to collect dirt on the sticky part. I have never been this disappointed with a screen protector, not even cheap flea market ones.
