Hahaha! WhaaaaaatAnother nice feature that I found, if you hide the nav bar, then press the home button and also swipe left/right, it works like the nav bar

Haha, indeed! Must say they do look sweet though, gives the phone a nice svelte and professional look about it.
Although, this gold one does give a hint of "could be a drug dealer" about it

I took a Body Glove flip cover , and took the
inside phone casing holder out.
Used a good quality glue and placed 3 x large velcro strips where the casing was .
I also have a UAG cover, placed velco
on the back of the UAG case.
If i go somewhere i just place phone inside
flip cover (velcro holding it.)
If i want to take pictures or relax with phone i just pull UAG From flipcover.
The velcro is good quality type and hold the phone secure when placed in flip cover.
Anyone find a solution for the badge counters note reflecting.
For example, pre Oreo, I had Whatsapp Groups that are muted. When a message would come in, the badge counter would still show there was a message even though there would be no notification. On Oreo, only unmuted messages are shown on the badge counter.
This also happens with my emails. I have my work emails come through however due to the large volumes, it is permanently muted. Previously it would show the number of unread messages on the icon, but now I have to go into the email app to physically see the messages.
Anyone found a solution to this? Google search says it is a known problem and the only solution is to load another Launcher like Nova Launcher etc.

Why not just UAG and a decent glass or gel screen protector? I am personally using UAG and a monster skin.
Never used or preferred screen protector.
When i go somewhere, i place phone in flipcover, in my moonbag (protection for scratches etc)
At home its easy just to pull UAG from flipcover and enjoy.
This method, works for me.

I did the OTA update to Oreo last week. Now every time I'm playing music on my bluetooth speaker, the music pauses every single time I unlock my phone. Even if I just press the lock button to make the screen come on, music pauses
Is there a way to prevent that from happening?

I use it for my daily 10k jog / exercises / shopping. etc
It's always hidden under Tshirt/shirt etc.

This is what I am doing....minus the "moonbag" .
When going out I using the Samsung flip over, while at home I am using my Incipio case.
Well i might call it moonbag, but to describe it further, .
It's a very flat, bodyfit, , waterproof/splash , running bag that i use for my running. Bought it at a sport shop.
I fit it under my running vest.
Can't exactly hold phone in my hand or put in running shorts.
So let's just call it a running bag.
