Galaxy Note and Hotels.com

Did anybody else's galaxy note come with a hotels.com app on it which cannot be uninstalled?

Looks like you have to root it to uninstall, if you're doing that you might as well install a better ROM.

But how could this have happened only to my phone? I have considered rooting but I first want to see what the stock rom will look like since it will have a premium suite on. CM9 is in beta so might try that. Thanks anyway

On mine a well, little irritating having something I have no use for and cannot do anything about.

Obviously Samsung have a piece of the pie somewhere.

Ahh great so at least this isn't something super dodge. I just don't update it since it opened by itself once; found that quite peculiar. I wish I could remove it, it isn't troublesome but I'd still like to have what I want on my own phone.

Yeah some versions of Galaxy Note roms from Samsung do come with it, I just drop it into a folder along with the other stuff I never use and forget about it.

There is quite a bit of bloatware on the different phones, rooting the phone and using nobloat will sort you out

Mines came with hotels.com. .. Bloat ware agreed.. But i did find some pretty awesome deals with them.. Saved quite a bit
