Galaxy Note

I love it already, just wish I knew the dimensions, no one seems to have them.

The stylus seems to be genuinely handy. Personally I rarely call people and use my headset when I do so the only question is: will it fit in my pocket?

Samsung seem to be releasing a bunch of really awesome Tech soon. I've been hanging on a while for the Press Release of all these "secret" toys. The Galxy Note looks especially awesoem. This may help for dimensions...

Wow, has Samsung now copied the pinch to pinch to zoom gestures as well....?

146.85 x 82.95 x 9.65 mm. Specs in the picture here:

Here are the first galaxy's specs:
122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm

And the S2:
125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm

It's added about 2cm in both directions, but manages to be thinner than the first galaxy (which I currently have). I think it might just work, largely thanks to Samsung's ability to make phones so thin. And the trade-offs for the size are definitely worth it - HD res Super AMOLED will be beautiful and the large battery should (theoretically) manage longer than the current Galaxy S's.

Let's see how long it takes to reach our shores. Strangely enough I got my galaxy S2 way before America. makes a nice change. They did get a larger screen - but what teh heck - Very happy with the real estate available on the i9100. The battery doesn't last as long as my Galaxy S - but that will be sorted once I've found the the sweet spot in my Overclocking and Underclocking settings.

I'm getting more excited by the minute, taking a close look at the spec sheet, it lists USB 2.0 HOST under connectivity, could this mean what I think it means? Also loving what the stylus does in the promo video, finally there's a reason to take screenshots on Android (I do it accidentally twice a day). I loved my stylus on my Sony Ericsson P series phones and there are many times I wish I could just start writing on my phone but with capacitative screens it's just pointless, so this looks great (I know HTC came up with it first on the Flyer, but I've never seen the point of a 7 inch tablet).
I hope it comes to SA soon, considering we saw the Galaxy S2 before the USA it's not unreasonable? And if its priced less than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 then it won't be bad at all.
