galaxy s plus or xperia arc s

Since I won't be getting my sensation,these are the next in line. Anyone here have one of these and care to share?
 
Don't bother with the Arc. SonyEricsson does not exist anymore. And Sony was never good at cellphones. Actually nowadays, Sony is busy dying a slow death. It basically lives on past glory. Samsung is the new Sony.
 
I have the Samsung Galaxy S and the Samsung Galaxy S II and the SGS runs smoothly with gingerbread on it. I am pretty sure that the extra processing power the plus will give you will be more than welcome. I don't think that the plus will get ICS though, but it shouldn't be to much of a bother and if you want it you can flash it yourself from XDA.

do you miss the extra .3 inches when you are on the S and not the S II?
 
The arc may be a better option, better camera being the biggest difference, nor forgetting the arc is more likely to get ICS officially.. if you don't mind the camera, and you used to flashing roms the normal SgS would be fine as it already has a very very good ICS custom Rom from teamhacksung :) The SGS+ isn't available in all markets and so I don't know how its custom rom support is...

i saw a little bit of development on xda developers for the S+, not much for the arc s. but that doesnt really bother me. i have a galaxy tab 8.9, so i do all my heavy lifting on there. but i think i have settled on the arc. for one i like the bigger screen size and i am am eager to try out the timescape aspect of the arc. something new to the android experience for me.
 
I am currently using an SE Arc S and funny enough just got my SGS2 stolen at the Lil Wayne concert, anyway I dont regret my desicion.

Here's why:
In terms of OS it's an android vs android, either way its a win win situation as it will be with the SGS+.
Both run smoothly dependant on how many apps you have running coz you get so excited when you buy it that you download half of what android market offers you.
Timescape is different but not really imressive like a "wow factor" basically just an on-screen notification tool, eg. read half your sms before you open it and see exactly how long ago you received thanks to a time stamp preset.
The best thing though is the camera HANDS DOWN...pics look good on the Samsung too but i believe its due to the AMOLED display so the pics only look good on the phone whereas on the Arc when you connect it to an actual LED TV the picture quality is beyond compare. It makes a Friday night out drinking with the boys look like a 3D slideshow, Memories for sure!!!
HDMI slot on the phone is genius, More Memories for certain!!!

So if the SGS+ and SGS2 are anything but alike then overall both are great but currently the Arc S has impressed me thus far.

i actually got an SGS2 today. the first vodacom shop i went to said it wasnt possible but the second one gave me one. so i am amped as hell.
