Hi all, I own the Samsung Galaxy S and absolutely LOVE it!!! One problem though... When i plug the phone in to charge (via wall socket) and attempt to use it, it appears to get the shakes.

What i mean by this is:
When i attempt to write a Mail while using Swype as input method the line which follows my finger from letter to letter tends to zig-zag as opposed draw a accurate line following my finger. This obviously screws up the word prediction and i must resort to touch typing.

Another example is while browsing web pages and i attempt to scroll, the page shakes and jitters until i release my finger which prevents sensitive scrolling

and don't get me started on how frustrating it is playing Angry Birds while charging (just touching the screen results in birds flinging and every which direct)

This only happens while charging via wall socket... never via PC

Anyone else having this problem? is the voltage too high? any solutions?

I've never experienced this... But then again I never use the phone when its charging. I charge it in the evenings when I sleep.

Tried a different wall socket? Different charger? Does it happen when you have it plugged into your PC?

It sounds like your cable is running too close to your screen, might be interfering with the sensors.

Otherwise, your charging circuit is not protected, or the shielding is broken.

I'd take it in to get looked at quickly, or you'll end up waiting ages..

I have used more than one wall socket but the problem persists... and this does not happen when i charge via PC, thats why i'm assuming the voltage is too high, perhaps the charger is defective...

Sounds like your charger, be careful before you inflict any damage on the screen
