Galaxy S2 Drive & Walk vs Route 66

Hi,

The South Africa map that gets downloaded with Route 66 Maps & Navigation is more recent than the one you get with Drive & Walk. I tried looking in the files to see if i could copy the M&N map over to D&W, but couldn't find it under their data folder. Has anyone managed this?

I don't have anyone of those on (sorry a little oftopic) my S2, google has been enough for me.

I see the route 66 app is free to download but how much does it cost to use?

The license is comparable to other apps I think. Drive & Walk is free from Samsung and should have come pre-installed?

The maps is something like $60 for a lifetime world licence (Lifetime of that device)

I would say stay away and rather look at

Navfree Open street map generated offline navigation - needs to be online when searching new POI's.
Sygic Total offline navigation for R320 for SA Maps, at least then you can use it on your other devices as well esp when you upgrade.

Yeah every now and then when I have no support tickets at night I get music pumping and edit on.... Great productive way to past the time, besides you lot dont respond to posts at 3 in the morning
