Galaxy S3 charging port woes

My galaxy S3 charging port is dead (loose connections to the main board). DBN samsung care is quoting R2600 to replace the port that is attached to the main board. They do not fix.

Any other places I could try to fix the charging port in JHB or DBN? Any alternative charging solutions? I have two batteries so worse case I could alternate with a external charger.

The charger I was looking at. Annoying but a new phone can be a lot of $$$$.

Was just wondering if there is anything else I did not think of. I have seen some wireless charging solutions but they connect to the charging port anyway.

Take it to a pakistani shop, those guys will fix it for you for 200 bucks
