I exist only in my own mind ...
The problem is that, when left lying idle on my desk for a while, the phone goes into a black-screen mode, much like a PC sleep mode, and the only way of resuscitating it is by pressing the power button until it reboots.

I have googled without success and also carried out multiple erase-resets, run it in safe mode, all without success - the phone continues to lock up.

The problem isn't trivial as, when locked up, it also does to receive any emails or messages until restarted.

This morning, I started TuneIn Radio running at 06:00 and the phone has operated perfectly, without lockups since then (it's now 10:20). Now I realise that I could simply run the radio, but apart from running the battery down, there are times when I don't want a radio playing!

Can anyone offer a suggestion as to what is going on and how to fix it?
