Hi,

I have a problem with my SGS3.

After installing Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, the phone would refuse to call out while on HSDPA.
When I set the network to GSM Only, the calls would work fine, but no HSDPA.

I can set between them if I need to use HSDPA, but before the Jelly Bean update it worked fine.

After that, I installed a custom ROM, South African (XFV) version of Jelly Bean, back to stock rom etc, I just can't get it to work on GSM/WCDMA Auto mode.

Please, any advice?

Regards,
Erich

I'm not sure how I did it.

IIRC, I updated via Odin, updated the modem via Odin, then loaded the custom rom. the custom will be rooted by default, but it's not needed.

Hi Eric thank you for your reply.but I'm struggling here...managed to download the modem and install but no luck.could u send me a screen dump of ur phone settings.base, version etc...
