Galaxy s4 multitasking

When I am listening to audiobooks on my phone I have to stay in the stock audio application. As soon as I switch to something like whatsapp the sound stops. How do I get it to play in the background?

The one that says "Music" ?
Mine shows on the lock screen and I have browsed and used watsapp without issues.

Fixed, was using "Soud Player" which doesn't run in the background
