As of this morning my phone goes into reboot loops about 30% of the time about 3 seconds after pressing the power button to check WhatsApp or a notification. This is weird... o.O

Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?

I've just done a factory reset using the recovery console.. Let's see.

Common issue with the note 3 & s4. Hopefully when the kitkat update comes out, my note 3 will stop randomly restarting :(

Quite strange, I've had my Note 3 since release day and it has never restarted randomly. Just flashed KitKat a couple of days ago, OS is much smoother.

Isn't there a known problem with the batteries, which you can have replaced for free by Samsung?

That is indeed very strange, I've had my GS4 since launchday in late April and since then only had 1 random Reboot and that was due to me having Rooted and messed around with BusyBox, Xpose Modules and Titanium Backup, my phone went crazy and rebooted and that was the 1st and last time.

I'm back to being Unrooted and haven't had a single issue.

I have had random reboots, but all of them when I put my phone in my pocket wrong and press power button.

could it be an unstable ROM or even an app update that caused your issue?

factory reset to solve the problem might not highlight the cause, maybe it was an app that was behaving strangely and causing the problem, or something similar, a service using up all the memory and the device restarting to clear that....
