So if I understand this correctly the Galaxy S4 comes with ADH warranty (Accidental handling warranty) and a general warranty like most phones have.

What I would like to know is by rooting your phone you lose your general warranty will that affect the ADH warranty?

You don't lose anything, warranty or ADH, no one in South Africa cares if you root, they never check, people on this very forum have had their phones fixed even with a custom ROM installed.

Nice thanks for the feedback, I rooted my phone and want to sell it and people are asking if its still under warranty. So I don't want to tell them it is under warranty when its not. With the Galaxy S4 the moment you flash it via odin with a custom rom it sets a knox warranty void flag to 1.
