Since there strangely isnt a thread yet lets start one.

Price for 32 GB phone at Cell C R659 pm on Epic 150.
 
If CellC is that much, Vodacom is gonna give me a mini heart attack
 
Just pre-ordered mine.. R599 is not bad! Comes with 100 minutes and 500mb data PM

Yes, and it includes the wireless charger.

Now to wait until next week! ive been able to upgrade for 5 months now.. hopefully it was worth the wait!
 
Seems MTN have the best prices on both the S6 edge and the edge plus currently . Cell C ' s cheapest is R629 on epic 100 for the S6 edge plus and Vodacom is apparently R649 on smart small (according to cellucity) for the edge plus .
 
Samsung had a stand in my mall this afternoon with the S6 Edge on display. Sorry to disappoint folks, but I was entirely disappointed.
The shiny back is revolting, and attracts smudges quicker than a mirror. No SD card slot, and the stupid back plate preventing changing of batteries. Honestly I think the plastic removable back looks better, and is more functional.

Have we reached the end of innovation of cell phones ? Perhaps not, but it seems like we have stalled, or have gone backwards slightly in the last 2 years.

I held my Note 3 next to this S6 Edge, and I preferred the look of my Note 3....plus it has far more expandability. My Note 3 has been superseded twice with new models, but what extra do you get with these two models that mine doesn't have ? fingerprint sensor...wow...thats about all.

I will be hanging on to my two x Note 3 phones for a while longer....or moving to a Huawei dual SIM phone.

So moving to a crappier phone with a crappier processor, crappier screen, etc is your solution?

Clearly this phone ain't for you.
 
Mine was delivered this morning.

It includes the wireless charger.
First thing that I notice is the build quality... the difference between this and my Note3 is uncanny.. the phone feels great in the hand.

The display is mesmerizing..really it looks amazing, same goes for the camera.

I am very happy so far!
 
Outright purchase at samsung stores R12999.

By the way got a soft gel cover at china mall this wekend for R70. still looking for screen protectors though.
