What makes you think gambling?

There are very few game companies in SA that are successful enough to hire anyone, never mind paying competitive salaries and excellent benefits. Also, those few that can hire, likely have a large enough social circle to not have to advertise positions anywhere. Also, there are several large gambling "game" development companies in SA, which dwarf the size of the traditional SA game industry (on pretty much any axis).

The gambling industry is notorious for describing their jobs as "gaming" or "game developer", since strictly speaking there are types of gambling that can be classified as games.

I wonder which company as I am not familiar with any in Pretoria

Seems a little suspect, the string "ragingriver.co.za" has only ever been found in two locations, a domain registry web page and this thread. Someone wants to be anonymous...

Could be a new indie company? But Pretoria is an odd place. Most are setting up in CPT

The contact button on the front (and only) page says "Green Point, Cape Town". :wtf:

Possibly a brand new recruiter in Cape Town, who advertises for a company in Pretoria, and only advertises on MyBB for the game devloper instead of makegamessa, or any other job site. Something's fishy, and it's not just the picture on the RagingRiver home page.
