Game Stores and TV's

I do not know where you live, but I got a marvellous deal at Ivan's in Claremont on a Samsung series 8
 
i live in mossel bay, only place here to buy good stuff is GAME .... my friend deal and work with this stuff told me he can get me a FHD LED HD READY LG for R4000....but since im downloading my 3d movies, im afraid it wont play some of them.... :(

If your friend quoted you on a FHD HD READY tell him to get onother job.
And the downloaded movies is normally SBS so they will work with this FHD HD READY TV. :D

It impressed me, and cinema is 50km away from me, and i doubt i can take my xbox to the movies to use their screen :D

I guess for you it makes sense and I would think 3D gaming is pretty cool. But get this, I walked out of the hobbit screening in HFR and LG or Samsung had a display of their best and greatest just outside the cinema, so it was like night and day. A tv is just too small. A projector would work better.
 
size dont matter for me, i had a R4000 JVC 5.1 dvd player in my car hooked up to my 4 6x9's and 2 subs. that small 3.5" on the radio becomes big in ur mind if u melt urself into the 5.1 sound..... :) i just want 3D...like i said, i sold my series 5 FHD samsung just now for R4000 (cost me R6000 18 months ago) ....so 3D will be a big upgrade for me, as we dont know what 3D will come out soon.
 
seems game once again dont have special on any 3d tv's.....should i get the series 4 720p 3D tv or not? will i rage later i did not get the 1080p? is their a big difff between 720p and 1080p on 3D 40 inch? .....
 
i checked it yes, but im in mossel bay, no makro here... and its 100hz only i see...might have motion blur? im no expert but ive looked up a lot of info on net to help me decide.. :)
 
So i bought the samsung FHD 3D Series 6 40EH6030... is their a sertion type of glasses i must buy or wil any active 3d glasses work as i want more than 2 pair... thx

I'm looking at getting the 32" telefunken led on promotion at game since I'm on a tight budget, thoughts?

Dont know them, but i would rather say get sansui* they use samsung parts in them...

They probably use a panel made by Samsung doesn't mean it will be about good though as Samsung make a lot of LCD panels for various companies.
 
I ended up buying the Samsung UA46EH6030, but not from Game, even though they would've matched the price I found it at (R7999) and 10% off of the difference, I refused as the service I received from Game was absolute crap!!! Ended up getting it from Govan Mani at Pavilion, and I'm loving it!! So glad I got the 46" and not the 40" as originally I wanted to!!
