Today I was busy browsing games in cna, saw that they opened the DIablo 3 boxes to removed the disc inside ( so people can't walk out with the disc only) but I could have just taken a photo of the serial.

But anyways wonder how many serials have been stolen like this.Got hold of the manager told him what could happened and he removed everything that could be opened and I showed him how the new games work. He said some of the games don't fit in those lock chases they have.

Should have gotten some serials :D:p:p

Ag that's been the case for years hey. I remember first seeing it when Command and Conquer 3 came out, in like 2006....

This irritates me to no end! If they opened the box then it's second hand goods and I don't want it because that's how I see it. Only buy games online or from online retailers now because of the whole "open box" issue.

I had that a couple of times, buy game, get home only to find the key already used. This is mostly from Look & Listen, and this is where Steam support rocks. Just send a photo with the game + ID + receipt, and they would add it to my account.

Other publishers like EA, good luck with that as I have yet to get an answer on one of their games that I bought.

Blame DRM for this

I miss the old days of a good old lan game :(

Agreed, once it's opened it's second hand. That's why I never buy from Look & Listen, Top CD and Musica. If the game has been opened or tampered with in any way, I don't buy.

Agreed. I don't buy games from those places because they open them already. I do buy music cds or blu-rays if they have something worth while, that doesn't bug me as much.
