They moving em into Metro... erm I mean ModernUI, Windows 8 store.

In related news, Microsoft previously revealed they are closing the Games for Windows Live marketplace, citing a push to restructure its marketplace strategy, which also saw the transition away from Microsoft Points to real regional currency.

As for future "GFWL" games, Windows 8 DRM system will take over, apparently its way better at copy protection as well, seeing that its build into the core of the OS.
