Oh yes ... now I remember ... I ended up not looking for games when I found out that downloads used international bandwidth and that my laptop's graphics cards probably wouldn't handle the games. I've since found out how to download using the local only mirror.ac.za thingy so the question is:
How do I know if a game will or won't work using my pc's graphics card?
It's a Dell D620 with Intel 945 GM graphics card.

Thanks for help!

I guess you should be asking yourself, does the graphics card meet the spec of the game you are looking to play? Forget about OS type, whether you are using Linux/Windows/Mac, does your card meet the minimum requirements for the game? Cause no matter what OS you use, there's mostly a way to play your game, so long as yor hardware is up to scratch...

Unless you're looking at the games built for Linux (there's a site where you can get a list of these - can't remember what it is now). Then just google the requirements :)

As it is said: If you don't know something, why haven't you Google'd it? ;)
