how do torrent sites get games before they are out in stores?
I have noticed that torrentspy has AOE3 and FEAR. Neither available yet

AOE3 got released in full, 3 weeks before the official release.

The way these torrents slip, as soon as a game goes gold, it doesnt get released on to shops yet, and the gold version gets leaked out to the warez community.

There is leaks everywhere.

Why not AOE3 was released on the 11th according to their site. Doubt I'll down . . er buy it just yet. Only purchased BF2 yesterday along with a graphic card capable of running it.

Yip, the disk(s) get leaked at CD manufacturing plants when there is a "defective" disk [little scratch, but still usable] thrown away at dumps.
