Gaming and caps

I downloaded the team fortress 2 updates came to about 1.3 gig i have 2 gig cap and i had 500MB prepaid cap and i used it all yesterday while playing few hours of Team Fortress 2 is this game that heavy on cap cause i play wow wich is on international EU server use up about 60MB playing a full day almost talking 12 hours here.

Guys more or less how much cap do you guys use if you play heavy TF2
in one day?
Only asking wana find out what happened to my cap.

Don't think you can use up 500Mb on TF2 that fast. What was your ping like? If it was
above 100 somewhere you can be sure something else was downloading in the
background. You should get a ping of around 40-60 in TF2 on local servers. Maybe
some other things where updating like HL or Portal, etc, dunno if you got orange box
or just TF2 installed or even other games you might have gotten through Steam.

I used steam and i am playing on Hsdpa/3g modem e220.
Pings was 80-110 mostly with a few times it did hit 150.
I got orange box but disabled all other games from updating.
Only got Orange box for TF2.
