Hi ALL,

I am getting a bit frustrated with which way to go in terms of a new console. Is there a poll somewhere for this?

PS3, X-Box, PC. Things keep changing. My 2.4GHz uP 2GB RAM laptop is not cutting it for the newer games. I checked out the Avatar requirements couple days ago. It required 3GHz!!!

I am really thinking of getting a gaming PC which can be upgraded all the time at a hopefully cheaper cost.

I have been out of gaming for a long time and I am thinking of getting back into it. Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated.

Things don't change with consoles unlike PC's. It depends what suites your pocket and if you want to game online or not, what games are you looking to play, if you like racing simulators and that kind of stuff. No sense in going for features that you may never use.

It also depends on what quality you want.

I Like high quality hence why i have a PC with a GTX280. No console will ever come close to the quality you'll get with that and a 24" Monitor.

Agred with the above post, no console game with ever look look half as good as a game running on a decent pc.
But, for ease of use a console wins. No driver problems and so on.
If you don't want to lose hair over problems get a console, if you want to be blown away by good graphics, get a PC. If your feeling rich get consoles and a PC :D

PS. Avatar for PC is not so great IMO.
