Gaming LCD, need HELP please!

I am on the hunt for a new gaming monitor. I am limited to around R2k and have looked at the following:

ACER X233HBD - R1800
Samsung 2333SW - R2100
Samsung T220 (Might be a bit out of my price bracket) - +-R2500 I think

I am going to most likely be using either a HD 4870 or HD 4890 card to run the games.

Which would you go for and why? (experience, specs etc.)

2333SW is very nice and well priced, I got 2! You should be able to find them way under R2100. more like R1899.

Edit: BTW my one system runs with the HD4890 best bang for buck in my opinion!

Just take note of the exact model! there are 2 one is the Plus version

2333SW = 20 000 : 1 Ratio and 5ms
2333SW Plus = 50 000 : 1 Ratio and 2ms

I bought a 2333SW Plus a month ago works good for me. Havent played games with it yet but HD movies play nicely.

My 2333SW Plus included a dvi cable were I read most people with the 2333SW complained not receiving a cable since it is listed as optional on the specs.

The only fault I can find is the lack of a HDMI connection in the 2333SW you will need to buy a converter if you need HDMI. There is a Samsung 2494HS on special at Kalahari for R2100 which I think is the best bet atm with HDMI.

I got the normal 2333SW and it plays flippin nicely! so if you want to save a buck or two its the way to go. As for the HDMI, not using the 2333SW for TV anyway, so that don't bother me besides, my GTX280 came with a DVI to HDMI converter.

and the 2494HS is very nice, I'd get that one. also it has speakers (not important to me tho)

I don't think that it would be much of a problem seeing as most gfx's include these converters in their bundles.

The 2494HS is an excellent monitor. And the Kalahari price is great at the moment. So much so that I'm considering buying a second one to use for DVD's in the bedroom.
