Gaming pings

My second day on the new connection and everything is going well(browseing that is). As for gaming (as in cs) the pings are just too unstable. Is there anybody know if there is anything I can do to get a stable ping (even if it is 150)[?][V]

I suggest getting an antenna when they make it available (manufacturered locally)

Should get you an 18 dbi gain, which is approx 16% better signal strenght (thumb suck)

Nooit, 18dbi will boost the signal alot more surely?

With Wifi, no antenna your range is 100m, with a 13dbi yagi antenna, the range is extended to +-3km (although it's now directional)

With a simple 12dbi Omni, you can get a range of 5kms around the antenna (line of sight)

Jester can u plz reply if u solve ure stability issue on ure CS pings... cause im interested in the gaming pings and how mywireless fairs... its important that it stays stable in CS as u should already know... Could u post some SGS IP Pings here plz ... thx bud

After discussing it with the helpdesk this morning the only way you can get a constant stable ping is if you get a tower installed next to your modem.

I am now trying to cancell my contract with them considering I have only only had the modem just over 24hours
