Back in my day, we had the Atari consoles connected to TVs in the lounge.
Then the Nintendo Game & Watches came out and people quickly moved over to them
They were portable and you could jump into the backseat of a car and carry on gaming.

Similar thing now
Nobody is gonna lug their PS5 into the backseat of a car every time they need to go somewhere.
Gaming on phones is the in thing now, and the graphics are extremely powerful !!!!!

You don't even need that anymore. I think you get tv apps to just do that now.

I tried it on my XBox the other day. Played a game with my XBox controller that was running on my pc. It actually works quite well. That was through an XBox app though but I remember reading something about there being tv apps too. I may be mistaken.

That's pretty cool. I think you can stream steam through android device too now.I just have one of these and there isn't much fiddling involved.Just plug and play.Happy that I got one before they were discontinued.

Bought a PS3 back in the day, but it really just gathered dust.Used it when visiting friends for some Tekken sessions.

Recently taken a break from PC gaming, sold my 2070s and 155Hz monitor as I was spending slightly too much time playing games and sitting at my desk (work from home plus game in the evening). Neglected the S.O. a bit.

Missed it a bit so trying out an Xbox Series S. So far so good. I feel like a bit of a retard playing online on the Xbox compared to PC but at least the lobbies are full of other noobs.
