My question is?
Are Gaming Tablets these days the "In thing" and what tablet is recommended for "Newbies" wanting to venture down this lane?
Can PS games and Xbox games be played on gaming Tablets?
You gaming experts who have been and are currently using this portal for gaming, please share your thoughts and advice.

They do sort of exist, but no they can't play PS and Xbox games, if you want portability look at a handheld PC.

No and they never will be.

Yes via streaming but it's not ideal.

Buy a gaming PC or if you're specifically looking for portability then get a handheld like a Steam Deck.
I would like portability and productivity, so a gaming Tablet with high refresh rate would be in my case a good thing? So basically I would use the tablet for mostly for everyday use, business, streaming and then the occasional game play at my age of course

The handheld PCs can run Windows or other Linux flavours and you can dock them to a screen and use keyboard/mouse.

If your primary use is going to be normal computer tasks then perhaps a laptop is a better option.

Where can I find a gaming Tablet with a refresh rate of 144H , like an entry gaming Tablet that won't break the bank?

If you talking about gaming on an android or iOS tablet then no, it’s ****. Don’t waste your money.

Asus Rog Ally, Legion Go, MSI Claw, Steam Deck and sadly yes they aren't cheap they start around 10k
10k is peanuts in comparison to a gaming laptop or even just a semi decent business laptop.

What makes a tablet a “gaming tablet”?

I might consider one for work purposes if it runs a normal OS.

So the Steam Deck can play most modern games, its a benchmark for mobile gaming (not cellphone gaming).
The screens are smaller than a tablet though, Steam Deck runs off Steam OS which is linux with Steam built into it.
Not really useable for work, but probably not impossible.

I was reffering to these things like this Rog Ally which apparently costs around 10k. I will go check them out

The new ones won't those are now 12k for the entry level, go second hand and you can get away with 8k.
Legion Go S

They more than R10k now, maybe a second hand first gen ( white handheld )

Yes the newer handhelds can run Xbox and PS quality games, might not be at the highest resolution but very playable.
