Gaming: Why No Fun?

I did. Expected something else. Like a wake up call to that girl sitting on the couch while the dog wants to go outside and play.
 
WE all get to a stage where we are sated and then jaded. She needs to recognise and step up her 'game'. Maybe VR or SimRig Racing will reignite the excitement.
 
2023 has some of the best games we've seen in a while, not to mention more to release before year end. If you can't find something that is fun for you in such a stacked year then maybe something else is the issue

Games are becoming more diverse, intersectional and representative. However, as Anita Sarkeesian would say, it's not enough.

There are professional video game reviewers out there. For example spax3. You guys just don't know good games.

Everyone just does play something else.... except for the idiots that need to play "the newest thing".

The video is about the trend not the exceptions to the trend. These days especially a really good game is the exception not the rule. The rule is either the game is bad or pretty and bad.

Just take a look at Diablo 4.... everyone knows it kinda sucks.... and they don't really know why they are playing it but for some reason they keep playing it. There is this weird cognitive dissonance people seem trapped in. I'm never gonna play it for what it matters.

Diablo 4 is great! They need to fix stability and whatnot but the game itself is awesome.

"Everyone knows it sucks" coming from a guy who hasn't played it. Christ man, step away from the Kool-Aid for a second, you're imbibing at an unhealthy rate.
