The impact to your gaming experience using the Killer NIC definitely lies with the specific usage of it. While there have been a lot of statistics quoted about Counter Strike, I find it hard to argue that the Killer NIC delivers much real value if any when it comes to the elevation of CS gameplay. Maybe as we saw with FEAR, if you are an expert at it, you might be able to pull a bit more value from it, but it does not seem that even the more skilled players are going to easily see the Killer NIC make their game better.

The Killer NIC does exactly what it is advertised to do. It will lower your pings and very likely give you marginally better framerates in real world gaming scenarios.

I don't see the point really. I can't manage the congestion between gaming server -> telkom -> your pc can it? I would imagine it probably takes a bit of the stress of your pc if your copying stuff at a LAN but that's about. Alot of the newer motherboards are coming with two LAN ports which you could probably achieve the same results from.
