Anyone had this
A friend like to experiment with foods offered me a thin sliver of this pinkish dried meat.
Nervously, I reached out - and touched !
Took a tiny little nibble.
Hmm.
Nibbled a little more, then devoured the piece in my hand.

Turns out it was biltong made from gammon.
The gammon was sliced then got a light brushing of a vinegar / jalepeno tabasco mix.
Very very yummy.

No, but I've tasted bacon biltong, which is horrendous stuff. It's like someone went out of their way to invent the most foul manner in which to destroy bacon.

Probably the jews. Damn jews...
