I purchased Garageband last night, played with it for a while, then saw an update was available... another download and now I can use it on my iPhone 4 as well as my iPad 2

well, congratulations to the musically inclined among us. Me, I'm still trying to work out what the one on the Mac is supposed to do.

They've really done a great job with the interface design, but the screen is a bit small for me, compared to iPad it's frequently cramped. But nothing has been taken away, it's just a lot more fiddly to work with. The touch responsiveness and performance of the instruments is excellent.
