Garden moles

Anybody have some advice to keep these f@cking little bastards from destroying your lawn? They seem to be a huge problem here in the Cape.

Put a garden hose onto a car's exhaust and the other end into their underground tunnel, then start the engine. That will smoke them out.
Or open up their tunnel and wait with a spade in hand and as soon they push the tunnel closed press the spade into the ground behind them and kill them.

I heard you should stick your hose in the mole hole (thats what she said) and then turn on the tap and drown them...

Add some coffee granules at the hole. After you drank it. They don't like coffee. I did it at my neigbours place, they left

Garlic and/or wild garlic around the perimeter. But you first have to get rid of them. I worked systemically placing the mole repellent from one side of my property and after 15 minutes moving across the lawn and placing more repellent in the hole. That way I forced the moles off my property.

The humane way, mole repellant and patience. It could take months with this method though.
