Garmin Maps update

Ok so I have a Garmin Nuvi 200w (very old yes) and I am trying to update my maps. The only option however is maps for 2012... anyone else have this? are these maps up to date enough?

They are probably fine - even know the stupid new names of all Durban's roads...

I phoned their tech support... they recommend you first download the maps and then do the install... that way I can get the final version... I think its BS that we wont get any more updates!!

Read up, you can still update your maps but you will need to work a little bit more to get them,
i see you have a nuvi 200 im not sure if the nuvi 200 can support NT Maps or NON-NT is your only option.
The new maps are Navteq City navigator and if your GPS can work with NT maps you are sorted.
im running navteq City navigator on my nuvi 710 and it works great.

Also have/had a Nuvi 200. Just after I paid for the last update, they implemented the free updates for life thing, excluding the older models. Decided then that was my last Garmin.
