Not sure where I should put this ???? Bit of a conundrum :)

Is it a Fone  Is it a GPS  NO it's a GARMIN :D

Does it do anything more -- or better -- or different , than all the other models we have become used to

Garmin NuviFone

What do you think ( It looks like it might cause some problems for RICA )

Sorry - just wanted to check why it will cause a problem with RICA?

I quite like it (saw the initial release photos in May) ... depending on when it arrives in RSA and the price, I might consider getting one

Well if you read the webpages and see all the things that this "fone" can do.
Especially all the areas in which it enables spatial integration of data.
It looks like the fone already does everything required of RICA.

ie. NO need for RICA -- just all get NuviFones :D

If you can make a communication "call" with it, you must RICA. How does it connect to a communications network?

The normal way I guess :)

I was being TIC -- this is one device that must make "intereceptors" smile -- you know just like in the movies.

ALL the info you want and all there and all spatially integrated -- even your network of buddies , the geotagged photos , a treasure trove -- sort of like a "Madam" spewing out her little "Black-Book" on the Internet for all and sundry:erm::eek:.
