Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep that Garmin Suction gadget stay firmly on the windscreen.

Mine always pops off in hot weather.

Get some silicone sealant, and put a blob of that on the suction cup.
Get the black silicone, and it is not noticeable at all.

Alternatively, get a good silicone spray, like Q8, and soak the suction cup with that.
Leave the suction cup in a saucer or plate for at least 12 hours, and spray the suction cup till the point of dripping with the Q8.
The suction cup seems to absorb the silicone spray, but it is not as effective as a blob of silicone sealant.
