I was wondering if someone could assist me. I bought this device from Mica yesterday. When I got home and assembled it, I think something is missing because the box was open.
The burner looks exactly like this:
My question is: the brass attachment-thingy seems like it is supposed to be fastened onto the black thingy-cooker part. But shouldn't there be a cap because it appears as if the gas is released into the cooker's pipe but it is sort of open (gaps): wouldn't the gas escape outwards or is it supposed to be like that?
Also, there is a screw that fits into the side of the cast iron cooker pipe-thingy. You can see it in the pic. What is that for? Does that stay in all the time?
I could go back to Mica, but it is miles away and I don't have the time.
I don't want to blow up the house.
